This client had some simple concerns--previously applied lava rock
mulch was posing a threat for two small canines that had joined
the family and love munching on small nuggets. Edging and weed
fabric had deteriorated and a small wooden wall had collapsed from
the weight of eroding soil behind. Hearth and Home proposed some
simple solutions--replace the wall and modify the slope with a sweep
to meet up with sturdy but affordable bullet edging. New, sturdy
mulch fabric was put down beneath a larger grade of brick mulch
much less attractive to the dogs. Mission accomplished!
