HEARTH AND HOME WORKS WITH HABITAT 
Hearth and Home Gardens, LLC brought a little warmth into one home this year as it participated in the first ever "Women Build" project of Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to assisting with some of the construction, Hearth and Home personnel designed and installed shrubs and trees for the home located at 1407 Jefferson.
On the day of the home's dedication, Hearth and Home planted a tree that it had procured in partnership with Struthers Trees and Outdoor Store in Ankeny.
Fittingly, Chris and Anne planted a 'Celebration' maple to provide shade for the McElroy home during hot summer days as well as some gorgeous color in the fall.
