Two homeowners cooperated to install this simple design in an older Des
Moines neighborhood to define and screen their neighboring driveways.
Flowercarpet roses provide summer-long interest, 'Karl Foerster' feather
reed grass provides interest into fall and winter, and sturdy Siberian iris
at the tip of the garden provides early season bloom and anchor the soil
from erosion from water flowing from a street which runs uphill
perpendicular to the garden.
